Dog Bone Mount

Car  Mk1 Hybrid
Ok so im going to attempt to change my gearbox dog bone mount on my 1993 k'reg 1.4 RT is there any hints or tips you guys can give me!?, ive done mechanical before just never changed a dog bone mounting. :S

Cheers Dan

Just a case of unbolting the old one and bolting the new one in its place, no need to suport engine etc as it prevents engine slap, not really support the engine.

Ok then so im safe to lie under the car while removing the old one?! :P

Cheers buddy, just wanted a second bit of advice! :)

Could be a b**ch, took ages to get my valver one out, it was wedged in so tight and barely any space with the exhaust, not sure what its like on a RT though. Also took ages to get get the new one aligned up properly with the bolts holes!

Ok then noted that, cheers if it gets too much for me with my plaster cast on ill just have to call for back up lol! :D

I payed 18.50 for it from livian autos in telford it isnt a genuine one but ive changed all my engine mounts for just short of 100 notes and done the labour myself
