dog bone mount

hiya guys, after much reading on previous topics i really dont know what to do. basically im getting that horrible clunking noise when pulling away in 1st and second from directly under the engine, can feel the vibration from under the car most times.

my car is a ph1 172, would you guys recommend getting the proper renault part or going for an aftermarket mount from someone like k tec?does anyone know how much the original part costs from the dealers?

any advice would be much appreciated!

just saw on the k tec site that they only do the 'twisted' mount and mine isnt the twisted type so now i got no idea where to get an uprated mount from!

i didnt have a twsted mount on my car, i got the twisted mount and the k tec bushes and then fitted them, much better now, drop me a PM if you need any help, im probably taking mine off tomorrow because im changing cars,

hey mate, do only the bushes come with the k tec one and not the mount itself?

did it get rid of the rattle??

only the bushes with the ktec kit. try replacing other bushes too, i did ktec ones plus drivers side top engine mount and another one that was on the passenger side that attatched to the subframe, all replaced together made quite a difference.

The stock mounts are fine realy just need new one and/or the engine maounts adjsutsing so the engine sits right.
