pay day in 2 days :)

im at that stage (again) where i think do i bother or get rid? But the way i see it.. i could get rid and end up with a car that develops even more expensive problems where as i know whats been done on mine and what needs doing.

So its out with the wallet.

would you seriously? :p

im rather attached to mine, at some point there wont be anything left to go wrong because ill have replaced it all...

OUCH !

I have my first 12,000 mile, 2 year service coming up on the 172 next month, hoping for a very short list ! There better be a very short list anyway ! Going to ask them to check the engine mounts after all the complaints on here even though I do not have the knocking sound YET !

Some Red dot disks on ebay at £50, front either in 6 or 20 groove. Maybe a good option for you. Magnex full exhaust starting at £35. Fuel filter can be done yourself. About 6 quid from GSF. Get new clips for ends of pipe from local motorist shop for about 1 quid. Although if you have to get bias valve done anyway wont be much more for them to do filter whilst in air on ramps and saves you stinking of petrol.

Not as bad as it looks on the list, but thats easy to say when its not my car.

New disks and pads, unsieze the load sensing valve, fuel filter, new battery (or top it up and charge it) new exhaust and a part worn tyre.

Dont know about the exhaust but the rest should cost you about £150 at a half decent garage.
