Door Damage

Car  Clio 182
So basically I have some damage to my door after a passenger got out without looking and took out a cyclist (who fortunately is fine)

I went to get a quote today and got a rough estimate of around £500 but he'd get back to me for a more exact figure when he sat down with the photos! This sounded a bit steep to me (though I have no idea!) would it be cheaper to instead get a new/used door? And are doors for 172/182 the same?
Thanks
Ash

I would be cheaper to get a used door but the colour match is the prob as it would need to be painted and blended down the side of the car so it all matched

If I found a door that's the same as the one I've got now though that should be a close match at least right?
Also does anyone know if the 172 silver/titanium is the same as the 182?

Make sure you view the replacement door in person. It doesn't show up in photos but the difference between iceberg and titanium is remarkable.

Yeah id be swapping the door considering theres no other damage, doubt it would cost more than £100

You need a Titanium MV647 door.

eBay item 151519469822

£45 but pick up only from West Brom.

A door is a tight fit in the back of a Clio, but it will shoehorn in,though you have to drive with the seat closer to the steering wheel than normal, unless you are 5ft 6.
