door speakers?

i would like to upgrade my door speakers in my 05 plate clio RS.

ideally i would like a set of components but i dont no what size the standrad speakers are and dont no how to measure them, has any one done any component setups that they can recomend. have a 250w JBL amp they will be powered by and sound detening stuff....

any recomendations or even just the original sizes or what can easily be made to fit with out too much customisation to the origial door pods

I'm pretty sure they're 13cm, they are in my 1.2 anyway.

Your door speakers are 13cm/5-1/4 inch, i have JL Audio V2's, but something like Vibe blackair series are good and reasonably priced, depends on what you want to spend thought, and also you may need to build them away from the door, i did as mine are fairly deep speakers, get components as they give better sound as the tweeter is at a better height when on the car dash.
