door trim - help!

anyone have problems with the plastic trim that runs up the top of the door (next to the B-pillar) on the mk2 ph 2 clios?

mine keeps comming loose

Try taking it off and compairing it with the other side one and seeing it if has any broken clips.

its loose on both sides

they break very easily, but only if you take them off usually.

they were off twice - got comp spkers put tin then again when i got colourcoded

wud i just need to get the clips?

they shake about when ure driving, very annoyin

Youd need new covers if the clips ar broken as thare an all in one unless you can superglue the old clips back on.

New covers are about £25 from Renault, depends on spec though.

mine do this just stuck a small peice of blue tak on each clip worked like a dream

i tried superglue on my last clio, didnt work, and it felt a bodge, if it happened again id get replacement panel didnt know they were that cheap.

No doubt renault break loads when clios in for warranty work etc.

Same old interior bits falling off/apart.

My glove box rattles and one side looks open slightly

Gee clios have been like that since they came to UK, MK2 anyways, dunno why but everyone is like it from factory! lol (gap on the right side of glovebox I mean)

Yup. Bloody stupid, Im going to rip it off.

Anyone ever fixed this?

yeah you have to get new glovebox fitted.

No doubt which has to be paid for!
Well I have no warranty anyway.

never looked myself, not sure if its an easy fix, i.e just unscrewing door and putting new one on.
