Down on power, any ideas ?

Went to SRR today and ran a 158.4, only 2 months ago on the same rollers it ran a 169.9 ! Only thing that changed between the runs was that I replaced the standard air filter with a ktec item ! Have put the original back in, feels a little bit better but not 10bhp better.

Any help would be appreciated

Possibly the another filter of death, but its not disintegrated and even for an air filter 10+bhp is a bit much ?

possibly injector's on way out, shite batch of fuel

mine was around 15bhp down last time it was on RS tuning roller's but i did have a shagged dephaser and also an injector fault brought its self to light around 2 days later, dephaser etc changed and the car certainly feels alot better

was it left idling for a long time before the run?

Not massively Dan, Charlie went through two other runs with it idling before it was put on the rollers. Been out in it this morning and it feels better still. You reckon a filter could cause a 10 bhp drop ?

Having looked at the Ktec filter it is a bit wider than the original. So not as much air moving around in the airbox ?
