drivers headlight and balljoint clunking noise??

  cliosport 182
1st problem, is that my drivers headlight has developed a water leak/condensation does anyone know if theres a specific place where they leak or what causes the condesation inside the headlight, as now the xenon fires up when it wants to and flickers sometimes but over times is ok,

2nd problem had a clunking noise develope, sounds like a ball joint, at first thought it only happened over bumps, but if i go round a corner in the wrong gear and engine strugles i can here the balljoint clunking noise which leads me to belive its something else??

About the headlight, mine did the same so i took the rubber seal off the sidelight slightly and that cured it, all is well after 5 weeks and no water has got in :) just a suggestion

Headlightwise i"m assuming you've got the rubber covers on the backs of the lights? Not sure about routes for water ingress but when it happened to mine I put the whole unit in the oven at 70 degrees for 20mins which dried it out. Airing cupboard overnight would do the same job.

took rubber cover off and has cured it for now, and xenon is working fine, knocking noise yet still to get round to jackin up and having a nose

The only issue with the rubber cover being off is that there is nothing stoping damp air (they type we will be getting plenty of now its winter) getting into the casing. Also if you go through a big puddle and loads of sparay etc gets up in the engine bay you could damage something. Best to dry it out thoroughly then get the cover back on.
