drivers seat release?

some boobie has broken the release catch on my drivers seat. Ive looked round the back of seat and the cable seems to be attached still. when you lift the release handle nothing happens! any ideas?

The cable has just slipped, do a search as I'm sure its happened hundreds of times for people before.
