No, it's a cross between birds chirpping and mice squeaking. Noticable in town drive.

i had the same prob with my 172 but on the passenger side! to stop it i jacked the car up and sprayed some spray grease on the ruber bushes on the suspention and any other rubber mounts conected! it sorted it for a while anyway.then i had coilovers put in and new poly bushes after(which r brill)
