Drivers Side Window Regulator

Well since Jan 2010 I broke my drivers side window motor (sucks especially at drive throughs haha) I got a motor on saturday and a brand new clip to replace the one that origionally snapped and made my motor snap its pulley... So I tried fitting it tonight (Bare this in mind I am mechanically not minded I screwed up an oil top up I poured oil on the engine missed the hole... DOH) so yeh this was a fun task and challenge and well.. I may have naffed up my motor, the cable came loose on it after I was testing it (as I got it from a scrappy) and the cable jumped out of its grooves on the pulley. So I took the facier off hoping to just stick it back on and put the facier back on well no it didnt work.

So how do I re wind the wire back on a motor pulley? lol I naffed up big time grr :dapprove:

Me too mate. Got the same problem. I got all the window regulator parts. all I need is a guide. Can't spend money for a mechanic. Please. help. Thanks in advance. really appreciate a response.

Put together the regulator (unless you bought a full regulator) outside the car (Motor, Slider Clip and Rail (just unbolts from the car) ) then turn the rail horizontal slide the motor into its place then the rail after that and put the clip through the hole in the glass and put the other clip on that post to hold it in place. rotate the rail vertically and bolt back in place then bolt the motor in place also. If you got confused give me your email and ill send you the guide I have.

It should be fine and dandy after that though just re assemble the door card
