Driveshaft popped out today

Not too sinister, I had the hub assembly separated from the wishbone and it popped out. Gearbox side. No leakage or anything. I managed to push it back in.

is it normal for the end of the driveshaft to come out of the gearbox with the three bolts still done up? Like its loose within the boot?

Yes quite normal when it happens to me i usually have oil all over the place

Cool. I guess the boot is now full of gearbox oil though. Is that ok?
