Monaro VXR/Cupra TDi
When the car is parked stationary with the passenger side of the car mounted on pavement a ratling noise can be heard from the front end. Clutch out and in neutral. All fluids at correct levels.
The noise can also be heard when pulling away in first gear with little revs used and when climbing a slope. More pronounced in reverse gear.
Noise became apparent after it had snowed some weeks back and high revs were used to move the car through the snow. Noticed clutch had worn more so afterwards.
Drove the car hard a few days back, changing gear as normal, noticed a slight smell of burnt clutch.
Any ideas???
