Driving Seat Hight Position!

God I feel Im in a Range Rover sometimes! Im just 6" so not particularly tall but I feel the seats are waaay too high even on the lowest setting.

Anyone else feel this in a 172?....anyone taken the seats out and replaced them with something sexier/lighter/lower?

After driving y0z2as car at the weekend Ive moved my seat a lot closer to the pedals. Its much easier to drive quickly but I do still feel too high up. Im only 5 foot 8. Ive got the seat at its lowest setting.

When I drive my old mans Celica I find it hard to get in or out Im so used to the Clio!!

Forwards/backwards.... hmm...

Best seating position is where you can hold and outstreched arm and your wrist can sit onto of the steering wheel - this gives you the best movement and control, height wise its a comfort thing - my seat is at its lowest but its still too high - roll on the buckets I say.

My missus always says it feels like getting in a 4x4 but its bound to feel high compared to her MX-5

Mmm I dont know how technically difficult it would be to get bucket seats fitted?...anyone?....

I dont want to go to the extreme of an Elise (remembers being on all fours getting out of one recently!)...but something that makes you feel you are sitting lower would be well appreciated!
