Yeah ok think thats a no then LOL but they are not cheap £80 they are for Philips ones with auto dim

I didn't say they were cheap, they just look cheap lol.

I've seen some older cars which should look quite respectable (Mercs, beakers etc) with these fitted and they look like a 17 year old has got hold of their parents car and wants it to look like an r8. Because drl.

Just my opinion though

I like them personally. I've been attempting to put them on my megane with varying degrees of success.

I got Dan@SJM to set my headlights permanently on via clip. First thing I do in any car is turn the headlights on. I think it looks fine. Couldn't give a flying monkey ^&*0 anyway even if it does look s**t. Personally, I'd rather be seen.

Can you still turn them off with the stalk?
Would love to have this on my 182 leave the lights on and have them come with the ignition.

If you're going to add extra lights for scene points, just fit a roof bar with 4 KC Daylighters on it.

At least they'll be useful in the dark, and look infinity% less gash

It sets the auto-lights permanently on, so the dipped beam is constantly on. Full beam is still manually operated and you have to turn the lights on, on the stalk to be able to engage full beam. They turn on when you turn the ignition on though, so in that sense they operate like a DLR. Might seem stupid to some but I always drive with the headlights on because as Jaff says, to me the benefits outweigh looking like a dick.

IMO that's pointless! Surely its just as easy to use the stalk as intended!?

I have DRLs on my DS3 but I just use my standard halogen headlights...

The ones on the New clio are so friggin bright even in broad daylight.

I still don't understand how neons and other silly lights are illegal for dazzling and distracting other road users... But drls are actively encouraged. The amount of times I've been dazzled by those twatting lights is obscene!

I know you're more intelligent than that question ;)

That's the point lol
Not to the point of being dazzled by them!

Why have DRLs on the front but not the rear? The number of brainless morons I've seen running just front DRLs but no rear lights at night is getting a bit silly.

Volvo had this sorted perfectly donkeys years ago.

I agree you shouldn't be dazzled by them but the concept is a good idea IMO.

I certainly spot cars quicker when they have drls
