Droning sound on a 182

I've just noticed a new noise. Its not horribly loud but its almost always there. Its most noticable when slowing down from 60mph to stop and sounds like a whirring/droning sound winding down. any thoughts?

What does a nackered wheel bearing sound like?

Wheel bearing is a drone sounds like you have said, it will get worse and eventually sound plane thats about to take off.

Doubtful seen clios lock wheels up once the friction gets to bad on the foooked bearing :S
