Drum brakes look pants.

  1.2 Clio Campus Sport
is there anyway of changing your drum brakes to a nice set of disks?

if there is how hard would it be to do and is it costly?

Cheers.

you probs woulndt get much benefit on a 1.2, i suppose anythign is possible since the 1.6 had drum on the early ones than discs on the latter ones.

an easier option could be to paint them silver, could make them appear more disc like.

  cock mobile.
You can do it, not sure how much it would cost, but doubt it would be cheap.

Wouldn't give any real benefit.

Don't paint drums though, please, it looks rubbish!

Think you would need a 1.6 rear disc axel and as said on a 1.2 would be a complete waste of time.

Painting them would be the easiest/cheaper option.

  Lots of Alfas
IIRC Giles tried it on his 1.6 and although the 172 axle is a straight swap, the abs wouldnt work because the disked cars have a different number of teeth on the abs rotor.

Its way too much effort for little reward.
