DS2500 vs standard help

Having just purchased the Brembo HC's (fantastic service btw pete) I was considering buying the DS2500's (before fitting anything to the car).
The thing I was wondering, was what difference for road use would the DS2500's have over a new set of renault front pads on the Brembo's?
Would the DS2500's really justify the extra cash for road use?

road use? no, not really, just use stock

I wouldnt be able to justify 2500s for just road use. What about the DS pads? Or Mintex 1144s? Although I think both are a bit more expensive than stock pads

so whats the cheapest we can get a set of standard front pads then?
