Hey guys! I am adding dual optic headlghts to my mk2 ph1 while trying to follow the guide by Davebem from the guide section.

I have bought the required male and female connectors and snap lock connectors pictured below

Following the diagram provided I am still unsure about how the wires are connected to the bulbs, would anyone have some pictures of their wiring so I can get a better idea? It would be much appreciated!

Hey mate, I could have made you one of these easy enough but I used up all my wire the other day like a plank.

I can take you some pics a little later and post them up, but without taking the light out you can't see that much. Where abouts are you from mate? No one local to help you??

Im from northern ireland so I'm really not sure if there is anyone local to me but if anyone sees this give me a shout :approve:

Any pictures would be great Robbos! I understand that you won't be able to see much without removing the lights but they should still help. I am going to take some quick pictures now of the connectors that go into the bulbs in my car at the moment to point out what im stuck with!

Sorry robbos its been pouring with rain all day here and being stuck with work I havint had the time, pictures up first thing in the morning! Ill describe my problem though..

My standard lights have the wires connected to block like connector fitting into the bulbs, do I take the wires out of the block and then connect them to the crimp terminals?

You don't have to destroy any of the standard wiring at all, its a case of pushing the male spade connectors into the old block and then the female ones into the bulbs. Its so easy when you've done it once but I see how its confusing the first time. Get a pic up tmrw and i'll take one to hopefully answer all your questions.
