Clio k4j - Clio 200T
Hi guys! after quite a bit of time I'm back.. news, and motivations will be on my project thread..this evening with some pics... anyway....
After some years with this problem driving me mad... I now want to solve it.
The problem is a dull sound coming from the rear right strut think about gently hit the rear axle with a rubber mallet..a sound like that!
Driving the car..if the pavement isn't a table billiard like result in a tonk-tonk- tonk-tonk like some part shaking against another. You can hear it also if you shake the car when parked, so it needs a very few move to "sound"
For those who don't know I remember that my car is a ph2 k4j and had 2 sets of coilies... the problem isn't with the shock because i had it with the old set, and when i changed them the problem still there.
The rubbers on the struts are new and with no play. the bolts of the shocks are in good conditions again with no play. wheel bearings are ok.
I've checked many parts... my last option is to remove the rear axle to check the bushings..
any clue appreciated!! :dapprove:
