Duplicate PLIP Key

I just bought a Valver which only came with one key.

The central locking/alarm works with the Button on the PLIP Key.

What are my options in getting a duplicate key(single button plip key) like this made/programmed without paying renault Dealer prices.

I have thought that the following maybe possible...

1. Purchase the PLIP Type key...

2. Purchase a key blade and get it cut...

and finally reprogramme it using the method below...or get it programmed from renault themselves.

I did have an inkling that the method above was vehicle&model specific. Thanks all the same.

Would anyone have any idea how much Renault charge to code keys?
