dust cap stuck!

i can't get it off - the other 3 came off fine but this one's being a right b*****d and not moving at all - tips?

Plastic dust cap ? Mole grips will shift it .

how long has it been on there? try mole grips probly shift it. maybe bit of duck oil or the likes

about a month it's been on i'd imagine

i don't want to twist the valve bit but it seems there's no other way

this won't damage it will it?

it could do mate, is there any of the valve exposed? if there is try and grip that with some pliers or something then twist the cap with mole grips

heat it up abit with a lighter. then just twist the b*****d

Sounds like someone didnt put vaseline on the threads and now it is siezed on to the metal.

You need to either
1. Mole grips on the tubing and the cap - The twist.
2. Cut the valve and loose the blind.
3. Heat the cap up to slightly loosen it.

tried heating it up and twisting with mole grips, the whole valve just keeps spinning!
