DVD Removing Stuff

ok i have a dvd which has huge preview and black boxes accross the screen, is there anyway i can remove these by editting files or deleting files or will they be editted onto the actually video itself?

in the dvd are 2 folders

- VIDEO_RM
....VIDEO_RM.BUP
....VIDEO_RM.DAT
....VIDEO_RM.IFO



- VIDEO_TS
....VIDEO_TS.BUP
....VIDEO_TS.IFO
....VIDEO_TS.VOB
....VTS_01_0.BUP
....VTS_01_0.IFO
....VTS_01_1.VOB

i dunno wtf im doing with this dvd shrink

when i goto re-author, theres 2 movies in there, both have the preview logo accross the screen
