Dynamique Vs Billabong

Hey guys,

I have a 1.2 16v on an 03 plate. I always understood it to be a dynamique but I have just gone to get some insurance quotes and they seem to think it is a Billabong?

There are no Billabong stickers (but then again they look gash so I wouldn't be suprised if the previous owner removed them) but what else would help me identify the spec?

You could ring a Renault dealer with your reg number and ask them.

Do the Dynamiques not have a leather sterring wheel as standard? Not sure though to be honest, i would do the first one.

The billabongs have a green stripe down the seats in the back.

Nope.

I woulnd't worry to much the billabond have the completly different coloured seats.

I've known billabonds come up a dynamiques and vice versa before now on insurance places.

Its just I am selling the car in August/September and I would like to advertise it correctly.

The interior has been replaced though...

they can have a extreame or dynamique billabong so the glove box will just say what range the car is. When i was getting insurance quotes i had to pick either dynamique or dynamique billabong

my old billabong had 'dynamique' in the glove box too, its just a variation of the model

i got a billabong

you can tell by the sticker obv, the alloys which are similar to the 172 in 15" but there curver, the inserts in the dash and the seats are black and light blue... slightly sportish for a standard car

but mine has dynamique in the glove box

Right ok - so it is destickered and doesn't have standard alloys (which I think you are wrong about btw bud) and doesn't have standard interior.

Can we conclude there is no way to distinguish whether this is a dynamique or billabong?

take a picture of your interor and ill tell you! lol

your dash inserts (if they havnt been sprayed) will say billabong on the right hand side

My dash insets will have been destickered and the interior has been changed.

Dynamique then obviously as the "special" items that make it a special edition (Billabog model) have been removed.

AFAIK Billabong is just a dynamique with a few things thrown on to push sales even though it makes no difference to the car?!
