No interest in lowering myself, just going to tidy things up and keep it standard(ish).
Did you get round to refurbing the door pulls then.
CSLs are a no brainer. They are like Turinis, popular for a reason, they look superb.
Billy how much did you pay for the car, PM me if it suits.

12 months MOT and an oil change
Well I bought the wheels, luckily they were cheapish and they came with decent back tyres. They weren't in the best of nick so I'm refurbing them before putting them on the car.
Question is what colour should I spray them.
These are the wheels, paint flaking off and corrosion :dapprove:
Got somebody to sandblast them for me.

I'm swaying towards the black and the outer silver not going to polish the chrome.
Well I'm in the middle of spraying these wheels. I remember now why I said I'd never do another set after I did my old 182 wheels.
Need to get more primer, spray and lacquer to finish the job.
I haven't touched 1 wheel, 1 is ready for the lacquer and 2 I've got to spray the fronts. I'm using Simoniz products, did have a can of Halfords primer lying about which I found was better to spray, so I did 2 coats of Simoniz primer ( which is white )and finished with the Halfords one ( which is grey ).
I've done 3 coats of primer and the silver.

Think this was after 3 coats.
I know they're not perfect but I'm happy so far. Hopefully will finish them this week and then leave them at least a week before getting the tyres fitted.

Fitted new badges

Fitted new wing mirrors

Took the wheels off to clean the arches and while I was there gave the calipers a lick of paint and fitted new handbrake shoes.

I'm finally getting round to fitting the spare wheels I refurbed.
Fitted new bolts too but need to get new locking bolts now as it looks like there's only 4 bolts holding the wheels on.
Got to swap the rear tyres onto the new wheels this Saturday and then I can get on with refurbing the MV2s as I'm not sure about these new ones.
Think they'd suit the car more if it was dropped but I'm not lowering the car. So will prob sell these.
Not looking forward to doing the MV2s as they're in a proper state, from the previous owner.

Where did you get your aux cable from? Ive been looking at the ones on ebay but I have bluetooth so its a bit of a pain by the looks of it.

Finally got round to get the rears fitted over the weekend, so here's a few pics.
Wheels are growing on me, they look good from the rear being 9" and not 8.5", also beginning to like having a silver car, I haven't washed it for over a month but it still looks clean lol
