E46 Rims?

  Never above 25mpg
I'm getting an immaculate E46 coupé on Friday to replace the 172 (for comfort, mpg and more space).

It has these lovely rims on it:

(Not my car to be)

Currently my dad has MV3s+ which are nice on his E46 but I was thinking along the lines of either *MV1s or some BBS LM reps(I cant afford real splitties so blow me ;)).

Personally id go for MV1's purely (& without being racist) as every modified BMW i've ever seen has been driven by an Asian.

Which is cool if you are an Asian, but not cool if you're a scrawny white dude with glasses - like myself.

It's not cool of you're Asian either Dave.

I quite like the 18" Alpina multispokes.

Was in Riz's e36 the other day, such a solid feeling car. He's got a shortened gear lever, much improves the shift no end.

The LM's on that M3 look like Reps to me...

I'd go for LM reps though, They just look great.

19" with a staggered fitment.

MV3's Are great on an e90, not an e46.

Only other wheel I'd put on an e46 is CSL reps (The nice ones with the dished rears!).

Hmm I like CSL reps but they're whored as much as turinis imo.

There's a cheap set of MV1s near me which Im thinking of getting and possibly some LM reps for summer wheels?

I've never known what's meant by "staggered fitment" though. Care to enlighten?

Yeah, wider rears... for example, that M3 probably has 8.5j fronts with 9.5j rears... so on the LM reps the rears have a bigger dish.

But the CSL wheels have a more concave look on the rear (still wider so staggered).

CSL's look fecking awesome on e46's though... as do Turini's on Clio's!

my friend has lm's on his but suits since its modded, i dont think itl suit well on a standard e46
