Easiest way to run XP....

Hi, Ive got laptop running Windows 7. I need to put a map on my Pals VXR using his Regal EDS Software. This ONLY works with Windows XP.

Is there anything I Can download/run on my laptop to make this work? I "think" I have a genuine code for XP but cant find the disc if that helps?

Was wondering if there is any sort of program I can run etc as opposed to the whole OS?

Xp mode only works on professional upwards. Do you have windows 7 pro?

No just regular i guess? Cant see this option

Click start, right click computer, properties. Tell me your windows version. You can also try compatability mode (right click the program icon, click properties, click compatability then click xp sp2

Yeah first off I'd try and install/run it in compatibility mode. Failing that I'd be using Virtual PC with your copy of XP.
