sports mode is a little button on the gearstick. the car holds on to the revs a little longer to make it "sportier"lol

no turbo though,lol

i though all the autos had the little sports button on them? could well be wrong on that one. most autos do. EVen my mums crappy old coras auto has.

in mine, i either hold foot to the floor so it doesnt change gear or drive normally so it changes gear normally!

My other halfs 1992 1.4RT has a button just in front of the gear stick which has S and C on it, S being sport and C being cruise.

thats not fair! mines a 1994 clio so there shouldnt be any difference should there? ill hav 2 have another look 2moro mornin to see if theres a button around!

Just so were clear, and every second post isnt "so is that an auto then?" ... only auto and semi auto boxes can have a sports mode...cos on a manual gearbox its the driver that changes gear .
