Ebay Mintex brake kits?!

Hi

Has anyone tried the cheap Mintex discs and pads sold on ebay for the 182?
The car belongs to my misses so doesn't get any stick at all. And on the road I very much doubt I drive the car more than 4 or 5 times a year so uprated pads arn't really needed.

I'm just looking for a cheaper alternative to genuine items, they need to offer adequate performance though.

Perhaps someone can recommend a different setup?

I've been offered a set of Mintex dics and pads for £59 plus the VAT. How does that sound? I assume they are just standard replacements, but I would have thought they would be as good?..

I have the 'standard' range of Mintex discs and pads front & rear on my MG ZT - they have been fine at stopping the 160 bhp 2-tonne barge, and £83 all-in was a bargain!

Thats what I wanted to hear! They will do fine for my misses and her 3 mile round trip to work. :lol:
