I bought a set of EBC Redstuff Front Brake Pads to try out, replacing the EBC Greenstuff Pads I currently have on my 182.
Can anyone advise me whether the (removable) thin Steel Shims at the Upper & Lower inner faces of the Brake Calipers should still be used with these pads?. I gave the Calipers / Discs / Pads a checkover & clean a few weeks ago and the Greenstuff Pads were REALLY tight against these Shims, and I think this may have been a cause of some of the 'binding' problems I have been having over the last few weeks.
Thanks in advance for any help / suggestions regarding this matter, it is very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Gav1903
