i know people dont like the ecotek very much and i was thinking of getting one, ive searched the disscusions and i keep finding people saying theyre are rubbish and are pointless with an induction kit and exhaust cause they dont work well together. Is this correct i mean bout the ik and exhaust thing.

All what an ecotek valve does is create a controlled air leak so in turn making the engine run leaner.All ive heard about it has been bad reports as well.

I dont want to start this daft argument again, but I will be buying one for my Cup eventually. I had one on my Dynamique, and it worked brilliantly - "did exactly what it said on the tin."

Dont want to (and wont) discuss this on the forum, because it will be disputed, no matter what, but if interested pm me.

BUT

They sound like a small rodent being stamped on, and dont do fcuk all = (IMO) a waste of money

Dont bother!!!!!

1.2 16V is mint on petrol anyway, and there is nothing you can do other than drop it off a cliff to make it faster!!!!!
