ecu?? 1.4 to 1.6 help

hi i have droped a 1.6 focus engien in my 1.4 focus and its still running the 1.4 ecu and the 1.4 focus only runs 73 bhp dos this mean the 1.4 ecu is running the 1.6 engien at 73 bhp?

i no this isnt on bout my clio but i thourt you could help me with this problem

Anywho, yes will probably want the ECU changing for a 1.6 one as it'll be mapped completely wrong.

as above, you need to change it for the 1.6 one, it'll be running too lean and probably too much ign adavance so will be pinking its tits off.

Get the 1.4 ECU custom mapped or maybe a 1.6 map will be ok depends on ECU etc is the easy answer.
