ECU cutout??

went over a pot hole this morning, and my engine cut out
tried to start it again, and it turned over and didnt catch.

so i walked the rest of the way to the bus stop and got the bus to work rather annoyed.

so i go back to the car after work, have another little look,
tried pressing that little red button on the top of the ECU, (1.2 8v engine) and it had popped up, it started up fine after that,

just wanted some idea of what happed thismorning! :S

that button is the inertia switch, iirc. It cuts off the fuel in the event of an accident/big bump.

I think only ph1 have them though.
