Had a nasty experience yesterday (worse as i was 220 miles from home!!)
Started car, and tried to blip throttle, nothing - just sat there at idle. Noticed that i had the Electronic/ECU fault light on the dash. Tried stopping and restarting but that didn't help.
Had to disconnect Battery and leave it a while so that it reset the ECU. Anyone any idea what fault might have actually caused this?? or does the ECU happen to record faults so that someone might be able to find out what the fault actually was??
Was fine for my journey home. Stopped a couple of times and started ok, and was fine this morning. Haven't had any problems before, infact it was only serviced before i went away on Thursday.
