ecu remap for 1.2 16v

Has anyone had it done yet been thinking of getting mine done soon just wondered if theres much differance seeing ill be parting with £269 !!!!!

why not get an exhaust or induction kit instead? at least youd get some noise for your money spent.... When i got an ecu for mine and nothing else the only difference was the raised rev limit, and you couldnt really notice any power gains - (if there were, which i doubt).

well when i come back off my holiday in july i will be getting a re-map

already hit the cars top speed so thats not an issue anymore, just want to get there quicker now

plans are re-map, manifold and possible even nos

but well see

There valver stuff looks pretty neat, ECU, shift indicator, launch control, full throttle changes..

the re-map is a custom job that tom contacted them about

they said that they were prepared to take on the job

prima said they had a remap for the car and simon172 aready got a powerflow cat back and a piperx viper induction thats why i want the chip doin well sod it goin to get it done next week if they can fit me in.

Loads of people seem to have this done yet I was told that no insurance company in the UK will cover you if its connected on the road. Am I corrcet in assuming that you dont tell them and pray you dont crash??

yep, but old mr read used it on the road (i didnt tell you that though!!!) If you crash, just unhook the bottle and hide it in a hedge, then collect it later!!
