I was in my local "car tuning" workshop today and i was jsut asking about the price of some team dynamics and if they would fit my clio. Then the guy goes, no but i could remap your ECU to "race" for £350 giving u between 8 and 12 extra bhp. I was like ok cheers cya. Rip off or not?

The decat would free up a few more horsepower and together they will make a nice difference to the car. The increased rev range will just mean you can hit a higher speed in each gear.

The problem is the price to get from here (Guernsey, Channel Islands) would add an extre £200 at least so i guess i dont really have an option. He could of told me anything i was just seeing if he had tryed to rip me off!

Sorry bud, I didn't mean to come across as having a pop at you.
Realistically, I have had my 172 remapped, fitted a Janspped 200 cell sports cat', I have a custom 2.5'' exhaust, a phase 1 172 airbox with Pipercross panel and uprated feeds with silicone bend and I doubt I have hit 185bhp as yet.
Remaps are a worthwhile mod' but don't expect turbo like increases.
PM Pmurray on here as Paul runs RSTuning and can map' your ECU directly from what I remember if you are willing to send it to him.
http://www.rstuning.co.uk/renault.php shows figures for 182 and 172 there. Might be helpfull

Im mates with Booker/Vinny etc haven t done a lot with kroozin but know your bro from seeing him at Bookers workshop . Ive seen your car in Caernarfon . Wish i hadn t bought Black/Gold it looks dirty when its clean unless you polish it . I think i saw you once when you had a fiesta .
