The RT owners are Carb or SPI?

Im SPI with a Delco Multec ecu. E7J 716

Not a enough help on the web.. anyone? yeap, you can guess the idea.

My ecu has got the Renault Nº HOM 7700 861 413

I never saw a ecu like this one... cant say where the hell is the prom.

Went for a spin at the web and this was at I came into to...

Went undercover at Renault and... by the look of things it seems that I cant remap my ecu. Even at Renault was hard to find my ECU since it seems that they changed Nº... now its known has 7700 872 546

well.. I dont want to go to carb... You valver owners are lucky b******s!!! my siemens valver ecu its the easiest thing to handle.

Anyone with some idea of how getting rid off this thing? alternative ecus on a 1.4ltr E7J 716?

Can you see what is your ecu manefacture and its Renault nº?? Pictures would by nice.

hi mate ive got a replacement ECU as my original one developed an idle control fault

all i have is the S number for it, which is S101718102

oh, also got serial 010205T

i do have a spare one which has the same S number

does your airbox have 2 bolts ?.........i think its these systems which cant be chipped, any clio with a 3 bolt air box can be done at hill power

I need a ECU replacement... our going to car is the only way to be.

P.S.- my airbox is this one... 2 bolts and a third bolt diferente.

your ECU is different to mine, yours is the 2 bolt airbox version, and it cant be chipped by Nick at Hill Power

you might want to speak to Superchips mate

no one can chip my ecu. The map is in the microprocessor. damn thing. Renault just went stupid on this one.

What ecus can I plug in to replace my unhackable one?

the plug on yours is diff to the one on mine so i dunno if you could use another ECU

well mine is SPI injection mate, ive no idea why they have diff airboxs and ECUs ?

you could try speaking to Nick Hill ?

I dont know. All the Renault cars I had, always went through the roof because of renault mods... Even at small things like pads or even suspensions.

Ive emailed Nick Hill once again... waiting for his reply.

Going to search for some weber carbs. I guess for a 1.4lts engine would be ok to fit a weber 40 DCOE with 28 a 26 choke.

Anyone with experience on carbs on a clio?
