EE's 4G plans are out.

Why not? It's very rarely that high. But for tethering with a laptop it'll be spot on.

But anything that requires those sorts of speeds, will eat data, and the current 4G plans are crap.

Until you can get big data limits for a price that is sensible its all a bit pointless imo.

Yep, that's what I'll probably go on but I have another 14 months or so on my existing Orange deal!

I spoke to Orange and they said it wouldn't cost me to transfer to 4G. But I never followed it up as I never got the 5.
