Electrical aspects of meggy 225 engine into 182

  Black Gold Trophy
Hi all, I've bought a F4R turbo engine (megane sport 225 engine) I'm capable of handling the mechanical aspects of the conversion, I'm just concerned about the wiring.
I have the loom and ecu for the turbo engine, but I'm just unsure where to splice it with the clio loom, what with the UCH etc.

I was thinking of getting the Autodata wiring diagrams to aid me, but somehow I didnt think this would be enough.

Any help would be great! I understand ditz on here is pretty good with renault tech stuff as he did the 2.0 conversion on a 1.2, so I'm hoping he'll come along to help ;)

can you use the 225 gearbox? is there enough space in the clio?

nah I'm using the JC5 box, although the bolt holes dont line up on the block, I'm going to adapt it to fit.

Nice one mate. Do a project thread with lots of pics.:)

What are you putting it in? not your 182?

stick pistons, rods and crank in f4r block that mates to 182 gearbox and dump 225 head and turbo ontop sorted :D

Surely running a standalone management would be easier than splicing looms etc. Can easily remap for more Booooost then too

yeah standalone would be nice, but youre looking at £600 for an omex.. I'd like to get it running on the standard meggy ecu for the sake of a cheap conversion, and maybe get a remap if more power is desired.

and yes alex its going in my 182
