Email problem

My mate can send me emails and i recieve them, and i can send them back but he doesn't get them.

They are bounced back, so is it a problem his end?

Sorry! I meant it's not bouncing back! We both use work email...

check that his reply too address is correct, my girlfriends work reply to address is wrong and I have to change it everytime I reply to an email from her!

According to Sent Items it went to the right one or is that just an alias that doesn't tell you the actual address?

whats your SMTP port? try it as 587, i had the same problem

Is that Outgoing server? I would change it but am scared of it buggering something else? What does changig the port actually do?

It'll stop you sending mail out at all.. heh.
SMTP is port 25/TCP.. if it listens on anything else, it's broken. (I know AOL or something use some weird SMTP port going out.. but that's because they have some weird setup)

It'll just be getting delayed somewhere - they'll all turn up at some point probably.

I know BT only guarantee delivery within 4 days or similar, heh.
