Emailing/sending pictures

If I take a photo on IOS7 in portrait, when I email it to myself it opens it up as landscape, its rather annoying having to open up each photo and rotate, is there a fix or way around this?

Even if I rotate the image on my iphone before sending it still comes through as landscape!

Save all photos to a folder then highlight all the photos and right click and select rotate?
