Emmisions light flashing since new backbox fitted.

Hi CS,

Having a little problem since I fitted a new rear silencer. The emmisions light is now flashing and the car is running lumpy as school custard under acceleration.

It's a 1.2 16v with a K&N panel filter.

I have fitted new plugs and coil in the last 2 months and the O2 sensor is ok having checked the resistance, getting 6ohms.

Could this be an injector or is the lambda goosed?

If its happened since you fitted the new box I would first:

1. Check for leaks in the exhaust.
2. Check you haven't knocked the lambda sensors

Definitely no leaks in the system and both lambdas are fine. There was a blow from the backbox originally, but this is now sealed. Could it just need time to settle as there is no leak?
