End Of The Road (For A While!)

Well, the valver failed me for the first time today, with a suspected exploding clutch!!! Couldnt get it into gear at all at first with the engine running, then when I started it up with it in gear and my foot on the clutch there was one hell of a noise from the engine bay! :(
Got it home via the AA! and now its started going in to gear fine for some reason, but still wont pull off!!

will be an expensive quote but you wont get it down looooads cheaper off a garage as the clutch is a t**t to do on the valvers

Mr Clutch's diagnosis of mine after they'd fixed it (and no doubt after the 'yoof' in the workshop ragged the b****cks off it from cold to 'test' it ) was "Clutch heavy" LoL

I'd rather employ Ronald b*****d McDonald to fit my clutch than that bunch of monkeys...

Go to an independant. Much cheaper and better workmanship.

The thing is no-one wants to touch my car round these parts due to the work involved with it!

So true mate.

I either get quoted a high price or they just refuse or say they can't do it for ages.

I understand they're tw*ts to work on...but still, didn't think they were THAT abd :p

its coz your nuts mate! no serioulsy sorry to hear about it - get it fixed properly though as Im moving thursday so can buy it soon - unless you want to sell it as it is for a better price?

Right then peeps!!! Looks like the problem may have been found, lets see your guesses!! And at the mo its not looking like clutch, answers on a postcard please!!!

Pedal assembly? My other valver sometimes just stopped going in gear at all, then I left the car for half hour and it was ok? Had mine replaced easy enough.

I cant keep you all going any longer, on the inside of the nearside driveshaft is a hub with three bolts in, take that off and you have surclips behind, theyve snapped disabling the car going into drive so thats getting done and Im also having a new clutch put in for good measure, plus Ive now got a fuel leak too!!! Bugger!
