Engine 8 or 16 valve?

Hi I'm just wondering what valve my renault clio 2004 authentique is I've looked everywhere an still don't know what valve it is. Help?

Well I Googled 1.2 Authentique and they do an 8v & 16v.

Iv always believed the if your bullets say '1.2' then it's 8v? All the rest say '1.2 16v' '1.4 26v' etc.

Or am I wrong?

i believe it just says 16v on the 1.2 16v

1.2 = 1.2 18v
16v = 1.2 16v
1.4 16v = 1.4 16v
1.6 16v = 1.6 16v

@DaveDreads I'm sure the pov spec only came in 1.2 8v or 1.5 DCi

If you enter your reg into enginesod website the search results give you your engine code and other details. you get an engine price too, which is worth knowing if ya engine ever goes (think its linked to hpi or autodata) but the exact matches if they have yours stocked are very useful
