Engine ballast/noise resonator thingy

Anybody got any pics of this?

Had a quick poke around but can't find it in my engine bay.

Also is it easy to take out?

If you mean the heavy weight just in front of the driverside strut mounting, yeah only held in with one bolt, I did have h/light and front panel removed when I took mine of. That's when I first saw it.

That's the one. Do you reckon I could get it out with everything else still in place?

Yes. You just need to un do the engine mount and support the engine with a jack. Use a plank of wood though so you don't damage the sump.

You'll then be able to get to bolt to take it off.
