No point boring out if you've turbo for the money realy.
Ported head and cams if you havn't got them i think you do though.
I'd look at using a different bottem end anaywa though for a better clutch/gearbox.

better to get a stroker kit made than to bore it, but like siad, pointless anyways.
Who's setup is it I thought you had a ktec car and they did cams and head work?As far as i know, the head and cams are standard.
What about the bottom end though? What options are there for stronger gearbox.
Depends how its done it shoulnd't though.IIRC boring out the 172/182 engine will only serve to lower the revs at which you reach peak hp

Dont put woosner (sp) pistons or rods in or you will be re-biulding again soon LOL
i looked into a stroker kit but it seemed pointless
