Engine conversion insurance

Hi, I'm trying to plan an engine conversion from 1.4 16v to 1*2 engine. Trying to figure out how i'm going to insure it. Does the conversion class as a standard replacement because technically it is a standard replacement cause it came from a clio and is going into a clio, it's not like I'm grafting a c20let or 225 conversion in there.
So my question is, is the engine a standard or non-standard replacement?

If it didn't leave the factory with it.. it's not standard, is it ?

If you replace a blown 1.4 with another 1.4, it's no different to replacing the battery for example.

Sports are SO cheap now, what's the point ?!

Insurance will be more than for a sport, it'll cost you a fortune to do unless you're very handy with spanners, and you'll never sell it.

Buy a real sport.

It needs to be insured as the 1.4 16v with a disclosed modification of the engine conversion (and supporting work) disclosed.

Okay, cheers Think i'll just buy a sport. I'll probably give you a ring Ollie, i'm getting quotes around 2100 for a sport so need to get this down a bit.
