Anybody know of any particularly good companys for covering engine conversions (r5 gtt into a mk1 rt) Ive heard of ones where u pay a certain amount extra for each 50bhp power increase. am 19 with 3 points and a unresolved claim, No NCd.

Try Liverpool Victoria, HIC and Greenlight, if none of those will quote you/too expensivw try adrian flux but pray you dont have to claim.
Try Brentacre on 01792 650933, specialised in modified golfs. but will arrange cover for any modified car. Last lime I insured my Golf, it cost £550 with a 230bhp limit on the policy, apart from that limit, you can do what you like. I dont know if they will cover you due to your age (I am 34 today), but I have used them for 10 years with no complaints.
