As title suggests is it ok to run an engine cover with a boosted 172, I only ask as I want to put mine back on and am worried about the heat.

Don't have any experience but I would presume it would be 100% fine. Most cars with turbo'd as standard these days have plastic engine covers
I have trimmed mine down on the back and have re fitted, no problems as yet!:up:
