Engine Cover Removal

Anyone know what size torx I need to get the engine cover off - I need to top up the oil - why make it so complicated for such a simple thing?

just pull the 2.0l flap off

Oh. Didnt know you could do that. Now I feel rather stupid. Will try that when I get home. All point at the idiot.

Better to take the screws out as the flap is renowned for snapping easily, just a friendly word or warning!!!

Yeah dont I know it, I guess Toomeys use that method as well as they only replaced one of the screws after the last service on mine!

You need a number 30 torx key to remove the screws . 2 mins of a job and better than snapping the stupid little flap over the oil filler cap .
